Senior Payroll Specialist

About the role

DigiExpress is hiring an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist in Tehran, working full-time on payroll operations, payroll accounting, social security and payroll taxation. The role covers end-to-end monthly payroll processing and close cooperation with Finance and Accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll end to end, including salaries, benefits, overtime, leave, deductions and other components
• Calculate and review social security, payroll taxes and employee deductions in line with regulations
• Collect, validate and maintain accurate payroll and employee data in payroll and administrative systems
• Prepare and review payroll reports on earnings, taxes, deductions, leave and other data
• Reconcile payroll data, investigate discrepancies and find the root causes of errors
• Carry out payroll accounting and coordinate with Finance and Accounting
• Process employee loans and settlements, including final settlement calculations
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records
• Work with HR, Administration, Finance, Accounting and employees to resolve payroll issues and improve payroll processes

Required profile

• At least 4 years of proven experience in payroll and compensation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Iranian Labor Law, social security regulations and payroll taxation
• Solid knowledge of payroll calculation and payroll accounting
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with high accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail
