Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

DigiExpress, a logistics company focused on technology, is hiring a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist for its Finance team in Tehran. The role covers invoicing, collections, cash application and reporting, working closely with operations, sales and treasury.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in line with contracts and company policy.
• Record, apply and reconcile customer payments, posting receipts to the correct accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes with Operations, Sales and Customer Experience.
• Maintain accurate customer account records.
• Work with Treasury and Accounting on cash application and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and analyses for financial close and management decisions.
• Help identify credit risks and recommend mitigations.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and reconciliations.
• Contribute to improvements in billing, collections and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing or general accounting.
• Experience in logistics, e-commerce or service-based industries is preferred.

Required skills

• Certification or hands-on experience with accounting software is a plus.
