Senior Legal Counsel - Litigation & Dispute Resolution

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Senior Legal Counsel to lead litigation and dispute resolution across civil and criminal matters. You will manage end‑to‑end legal proceedings, enforce platform integrity, and design scalable content policies to reduce legal risk.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of disputes—from early case assessment to hearings, appeals, and settlements, representing the company or managing external counsel.
• Initiate legal action against platform misuse such as scraping, fraud, and impersonation, collaborating with Trust & Safety, Security, and law‑enforcement agencies.
• Develop content governance frameworks that reduce downstream legal risk and clarify liability boundaries.
• Build and refine internal workflows for litigation tracking, evidence handling, and continuous improvement.
• Manage outside counsel panels, run RFPs, define scope and budgets, and monitor performance.
• Implement legal holds, document preservation, and digital evidence protocols in coordination with IT/SRE.
• Handle regulatory inquiries, lead internal investigations, and manage public disclosure risks.

Required profile

• LL.B. from an accredited Iranian university and active license to practice before Iranian courts.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, including at least 1 year in‑house at a reputable Iranian company.
• Strong command of Iranian civil/criminal procedure, cybercrime, e‑commerce, and IP regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with ability to engage technical teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Responsible use of AI‑assisted legal tools.
