Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

DigiExpress builds transportation and fulfillment infrastructure, and is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer in Tehran. The engineer takes product ideas from early concept to production across web and cross-platform apps, owns key user journeys end to end and helps set the technical direction of the frontend. The role also includes helping define how the team uses AI tools daily, from planning and prototyping through review and release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build frontends for high-traffic products, considering performance, accessibility and reliability from the start
• Use server rendering where it matters, including React Server Components, streaming with Suspense and a clear split between server and client code
• Manage client state and server data with tools such as Jotai or Zustand and TanStack Query
• Build robust forms with React Hook Form and Zod
• Shape the team's AI-assisted workflow, from scoping tasks and turning designs into prototypes to using agents for reviews, tests and documentation
• Decide when to rely on AI tools and put checks in place so AI-generated code meets the same standards as shipped code
• Maintain quality through code review, testing, documentation and performance budgets tracked against Core Web Vitals
• Build and maintain the in-house design system with the Design team, including components, tokens, theming and documentation
• Work closely with Product, Design and Backend to ship reliable features on predictable timelines

Required profile

• 5+ years building production web applications, including PWAs
• Track record of finding and fixing performance problems in the network, rendering and memory layers
• Regular, hands-on use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Cursor in real product work, with a clear sense of their strengths and limits
• Confidence handling API integration, authentication, error states and production edge cases
• Clear, proactive communication and a history of working well across teams

Required skills

• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals
• Solid React experience and a server-rendering framework such as Next.js
• Modern styling and component tooling (Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui or Radix) and build tools like Vite
• Working knowledge of Docker and CI/CD
• Nice to have: internal AI tooling, Figma-to-code workflows, React Native/Expo, Tauri or Electron, and testing with Vitest, React Testing Library and Playwright
