Director of Product Initiatives

About the role

Divar, a leading tech company in the classified ads segment, is looking for a highly motivated and strategic Director of Product Initiatives to oversee and drive the growth of a key product area. As an STL-level Director, you will have complete responsibility and authority over your domain, delivering innovative solutions that improve user experience and strengthen the company's market position.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the strategic roadmap for your product or program, leading initiatives from concept to launch in line with Divar's business objectives.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies and emerging technologies, using them to find opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the classified ads market.
• Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales and customer support teams, influencing and aligning them to drive project success.
• Advocate for users by understanding their needs and pain points, gathering and analysing feedback to shape product features and improvements.
• Use metrics and analytics to evaluate product performance, develop KPIs and guide iterative improvements.
• Lead project execution, ensure timely delivery and quality, and take accountability for results in your area.
• Inspire and mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in a senior technical or business leadership role in the tech industry, such as leading engineering teams on complex scalability projects, product or program management, or spearheading high-impact initiatives.
• Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that increase user engagement and market share.
