Software Engineer - Ride Tracking

About the role

Snapp's ride experience team is building a seamless ride-hailing and urban mobility service and is looking for a software engineer in Tehran to help design, develop and maintain highly scalable services in a cloud-native environment. The work model is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain highly scalable services in a cloud-native environment
• Monitor and analyze services and optimize them to handle more load
• Write well-crafted, tested, readable and maintainable code
• Own the design, development, deployment, monitoring, operation and maintenance of system elements and infrastructure
• Take part in code reviews and share knowledge through brown bags and tech talks
• Collaborate with product managers, client software engineers and data scientists
• Resolve ongoing incidents and provide on-call support

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another relevant field
• 2+ years of software engineering experience
• Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills

Required skills

• Experience designing highly scalable cloud-native services
• Proficiency in Golang
• Good knowledge of Git
