Software Engineer (Golang) - Finance

About the role

Snapp's Finance team manages all financial flows across its platform, from user wallets and payment gateway integrations to debt management, transactions, tipping and embedded financial capabilities. As a Software Engineer (Golang) in Tehran, you will design and maintain cloud-native financial services, ensure system reliability and accuracy at scale, and build robust, compliant features that power millions of monetary transactions daily.

Key responsibilities

• Implement clean, maintainable and scalable code.
• Help maintain coding practices such as unit and integration tests, code reviews and pair programming.
• Work with advanced infrastructure technologies to ensure performance and reliability.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables, prioritizing them effectively.
• Collaborate actively in design and architectural discussions and communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Test code thoroughly before handing it over and take part in meetings.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience handling high traffic loads and large volumes of data.
• Solid understanding of design principles.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Golang.
• Redis, RabbitMQ and NATS.
• PostgreSQL and MariaDB/MySQL, including schema design, indexing, query optimization and performance tuning; PostgreSQL time-series data is a strong plus.
• High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
• Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
