Logistics Area Supervisor – Ahvaz

About the role

A full-time Logistics Area Supervisor position in Ahvaz, within the TeamOperations team. The supervisor develops and implements strategic sourcing strategies for services and indirect materials, supports the organization's operations, and drives cost savings while keeping quality and service levels high.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee 3 to 7 distribution centers or agents across the country, including periodic site visits
• Analyze and monitor cross-border logistics performance
• Manage new projects and new channel releases, and develop new supply strategies
• Liaise with departments and regional offices for coordination
• Plan and execute process optimization, and conduct pricing and cost analysis
• Use data to evaluate performance and quality and plan improvements
• Select, recruit and onboard distribution agents, train and empower them, and supervise their procedures
• Prepare reports on distribution flow, track delivery progress, and guide manpower
• Review agent performance, give feedback, solve policy-related problems, and ensure client satisfaction
• Carry out feasibility studies, including preparing presentations and implementing operation proposals

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant supervisory experience
• Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, logistics, MBA or a related field
• Age 18 to 50

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding analytical and presentation skills
