HR Business Partner
Divar · Tehran
Job description
About the role
Divar is looking for an HR Business Partner in Tehran who understands how teams work and turns that understanding into practical improvements. Working with leaders and team members across engineering, product and corporate functions, alongside HR colleagues, you will help leaders make better people and organizational decisions and advance agreed priorities. Partnerships with teams and defined HR initiatives are reviewed regularly as needs change.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of teams' goals, ways of working and key people challenges through regular contact with leaders and team members.
- Partner with leaders on performance, employee development, role clarity, team design and leadership effectiveness, offering constructive feedback and challenging assumptions.
- Help resolve conflict by hearing different perspectives, facilitating constructive conversations and following up on agreed actions.
- Drive agreed HR work through implementation and evaluation with HR colleagues, defining problems, researching options, testing solutions, coordinating implementation and reviewing results.
- Combine HR research and organizational behavior with employee feedback, internal data and benchmarks, adapting solutions to Divar rather than applying familiar practices by default.
- Agree on measures of progress and impact, and use results and feedback to decide what to continue, change or stop.
- Build stakeholder support, address concerns, keep commitments and share decisions, learning and documentation.
Required profile
- Around 4-5 years of relevant HR experience, including direct work with managers and employees on team or organizational challenges.
- Solid grounding in HR and organizational behavior, with a habit of reading and critically evaluating research and practices.
- Experience taking an HR initiative from problem definition to implementation with others.
- Ability to interpret data and feedback, compare approaches and define and track measures of progress and impact.
- Clear communication, constructive feedback and sound interpersonal judgment; ability to build credibility and work through disagreement without formal authority.
- Career ownership, persistence and flexibility, and professional judgment in sensitive situations, respecting confidentiality, fairness and the needs of employees, teams and the organization.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting engineering or product teams, or working where teams have substantial autonomy.
- Familiarity with engineering and product roles, collaboration patterns, delivery cycles and on-call responsibilities; specific technical expertise is not expected.
What we offer
- Health insurance.
- A culture that values learning and autonomy.
- The chance to make a pivotal contribution to serving millions of people.
