Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Infrastructure Engineer will design, deploy, and manage complex infrastructure frameworks, focusing on Kubernetes, reverse proxy applications, and monitoring systems. You will work closely with multiple teams to improve scalability, performance, and security of our applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, set up, and maintain high‑availability Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement and optimize reverse proxy solutions such as Nginx, HAProxy, or Apache HTTP for load balancing and security.
• Install, configure, and manage monitoring tools, especially Prometheus, to track system performance.
• Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Integrate and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) for seamless Kubernetes deployments.
• Conduct system health checks, respond to incidents, and enforce security and compliance policies.
• Document architectures, configurations, processes, and service records.
• Research emerging technologies for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong background managing production Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with reverse proxy technologies and load balancing.
• Proven ability to implement large‑scale monitoring systems.
• Hands‑on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration and automation.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills under pressure.
• Effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
