Logistics & Procurement Technical Assistant – Kerman

About the role

The Logistics & Procurement Technical Assistant supports NRC’s operations in Kerman by ensuring smooth logistics, fleet, asset and warehouse management, as well as assisting procurement processes. The role works under the guidance of the area manager and the country office logistics manager to maintain compliance with NRC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily fleet operations, driver coordination, vehicle logbooks and fuel supply.
• Oversee asset and inventory records, conduct physical verification and update asset registers.
• Support warehouse activities, including stock control, movement planning and status reporting.
• Process purchase requisitions, communicate with suppliers, analyse quotations and prepare purchase orders.
• Prepare logistics and procurement reports for management and ensure proper filing of documentation.
• Coordinate transportation requests, allocate vehicles and follow up on movement schedules with program sections.
• Supervise casual labour when required and assist with office facility maintenance.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics, fleet or procurement support within an NGO or similar environment.
• Ability to follow and implement NRC logistics and procurement policies.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and reporting.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work under supervision.
