Domain Architect - Manufacturing Architecture

About the role

Novo Nordisk is looking for a Domain Architect within Manufacturing Architecture, combining responsibility for the Local Manufacturing Tehran (LMT) ERP solution with domain architecture leadership across Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS). The role sits at the intersection of business and technology, with accountability for complex, business-critical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the accountable Solution Architect for the LMT ERP solution, covering design, implementation, maintenance and operations, and turning business strategy and requirements into scalable architecture and solution designs.
• Act as the primary architectural counterpart for the ERP vendor, challenging recommendations where needed and keeping solutions maintainable, compliant and aligned with Novo Nordisk architecture.
• Shape and evolve target architecture, architecture principles and guardrails for relevant GMS domains.
• Lead architecture governance across GMS through solution reviews, architecture forums and architectural decision-making, identifying and following through on risks, deviations and cross-domain dependencies.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and build alignment across functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Solution Architecture, Domain Architecture or Enterprise Architecture, including architectural accountability for complex enterprise applications or platforms.
• Experience with ERP or similarly complex business-critical applications and business processes.
• Ability to influence architecture decisions across functions and stakeholders without direct line authority, and to collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in regulated environments, preferably pharmaceuticals, manufacturing or life sciences.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred: experience with architecture governance, target architecture, design/solution reviews and architectural standards.

What we offer

• Annual base salary ranging from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK, depending on skills, competencies and experience.
• Possible short-term and/or long-term incentives and other benefits depending on position level, location and function.
