Site Reliability Engineer - Platform

About the role

Snapp is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer for its Platform team in Tehran. The role strengthens the team's mission by improving the foundational platforms that automate manual workflows and raise system reliability, keeping staging environments stable and production-like so QA and developers can test and deploy confidently. It also involves taking part in the weekly on-call rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Automate and optimize operational processes
• Enhance and maintain the observability stack
• Oversee test and staging environment management
• Develop and support critical production components
• Handle and resolve production incidents
• Take part in the on-call rotation

Required profile

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Solid understanding of SRE concepts, including SLIs, SLOs, SLAs and error budgets
• Strong grasp of software engineering principles

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python or another scripting language
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Familiarity with logging stacks (ELK, Loki) and tracing systems (Jaeger, Tempo)
• Understanding of RDBMS and Redis
• Experience with Kubernetes and related tooling such as Helm
